It is a beautiful, charged full moon day. I hope this finds you well and finding ways to nurture yourself and thrive, from the inside out.
As yoga means union, when I write from the "I" it is also you and we. We are each a microcosm of the macrocosm of the entire universe so yoga is a portal to universal experience. That being said, please take what resonates and increasingly when reading and viewing on these internet streets, use your own discernment about what resonates as true for you.
I wrote in the last newsletter about communion and my inquiry about how community is connecting. Rather than reading it as a personal inquiry, to me it is a collective inquiry about the expansion of the number of people that I perceive seeking the nature of the true self at this time. This spiritual seeking often awakens in people a different positionality to previous beliefs, attitudes, thought-feelings, and behaviors. I believe this journey, newfound for many, coupled with all we have been through as a collective in the past 5 years which remains largely unprocessed, is what is leading to conscious and unconscious collective interruption, change, disruption, redirection, and evolution. I believe this is timely for reasons I will share over time; and it's part of a book project I'm working on - to be a part of it, sign up to be interviewed!).
I remain steadfast in communion both because it brings me such joy to be in connection with the subtle realms of our existence, but also because practically it keeps us in-the-know about the cycles, patterns, disruptions, and emergence of all aspects of nature. We are a part of nature. If you become aligned within yourself you can know what cycle of the moon phase we are in without looking it up. You can know what time of day it is by the position of the sun, the sound of the birds, and the movements of animals in the wild. You come back into natural cosmic connection and re-animate the senses and capabilities you have within to operate at a deeper level in the world.
The world has already changed. As the world continues to change and systems continue to crumble, it is even more important for us to bring these capabilities back online. Remember that we are the original computers. The language now used to describe computing is language that maps to our human capacities (e.g. processing, online, download, memory, etc.). Being involved in AI and spirituality, for example, are not mutually exclusive. They are both operating in the invisible realms, and artificial intelligence leverages human intellect in order to surpass it in processing power and speed. Intellect is not the same as intelligence. Intellect being the analysis and processing capability, and intelligence the knowledge (information + experience) that is sourced from individual and quantum information. This access to the quantum field is the essential capacity that is incumbent on us to re-activate and align with now, as we have powers yet unexplored by many to influence consciousness. This is the same capacity that is being explored right this moment in the AI field, and as technologists race to develop faster, more far-reaching AI, I believe we should be intent on re-developing our awareness, alignment, and empowerment in consciousness.
For this reason, I have re-opened the virtual yoga & healing practice community, Cosmic Collective - for women and anyone who aligns with the divine feminine - to unmask and empower themselves, and reclaim their power to heal their energies and transform at the individual/collective levels. Soul embodiment is the essential work that i have been doing with groups since 2016, individuals since 2018, and now spreading more widely online through this platform. Soul embodiment is an embodied healing practice that combines yoga in its full 8 limb practice, including meditation, mindfulness, dance/movement, and coaching (an extension of yogic self-study).
